Thanks for this road trip up Tantalus. Long ago (1978) I married a local girl at Puu Ualakaa State Park on a day very much like this one. Last visited two years ago when I hiked from Manoa Falls on the Makiki Cliff trail, to the park and back down Tantalus.

I was in Hawaii exactly one year ago. Watching this for memories 😢❤🌺🌴

I've found that a unique feature of Oahu's driving experience is that unlike major mainland roads, you often have to drive directly through neighborhoods to get some places.

I grew up in waipio near kipapa elementary school. Waipio was a small pineapple plantation community in what is now mililani. I went to leilehua intermediate and high school. I spent much of my free time in wahiawa. This video brings back many memories.
